I guess now is the time for me to do some updating.
We now have our first grandchild in college, one that is a senior, a sophomore, a freshman, and a sixth grader(the one that keeps us busy with basketball and baseball). Jenna plays basketball and soccer but at least that is high school ball so it is not every night!
We are having a lot of fun following our Iowa State sports. We are going to Memphis with our son and daughter-in law for the Liberty Bowl. Hoping for a big victory!!!! I want to go see Graceland since we will be very close.
In August, our children gave us a " SURPRISE" 50th wedding anniversary reception. It was wonderful to see so many friends from our past. Even Ed and Lorraine were present when we walked in the room.
Yes, we are still working part time and I am still enjoying my job.

High school was a very good time of my life. It is funny how the Y was such a big part of our social life.
It was fun to go to Franklin Field to football games and track meets. Then the walk up to Zeno's.
We had so much fun going to the State Tournament. My folks let me take the car to Des Moines so a group of us girls could stay in a motel during the tournament.
My granddaughters could not believe we girls only had Church League basketball. How times have changed!
The best part of MHS is the friendships I had and have to thls day.
