Charlotte "Sue" Kellogg

   Charlotte "Sue" Kellogg, 63, rural Gilman, died Sunday Oct. 8, at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center.  Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Grinnell Christian Church, 9th and Hobart Street in Grinnell with Pastor John Epperson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown.  Visitation was held at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11.

   She was born Aug. 19, 1943, in State Center, the daughter of Charles and Helen (Pfantz) Jones.  She graduated from the Marshalltown High School's class of 1961.  On Sept. 8, 1962, she married Robert (Bob) Kellogg at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in State Center.  They made their home east of Gilman, where they farmed.  She also worked in the secretarial field and was secretary at the Grinnell Christan Church.  She was a member of the church, several groups and clubs in the Gilman community and the Marriage Encounters of the church.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother in infancy and her grandparents.

  She is survived by her husband Robert; three children, Jackie Dellamuth of Swisher, Bob Jr. (Connie) Kellogg of Mitchellville and Jeff (Paula) Kellogg of rural Gilman; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother Wayne (Mary) Jones of rural State Center.
