Judy Gazaway (Alexander)

 

   Judith M Alexander, 48, of 510 11th Ave. N.W., Altoona, died of cancer, Wednesday April 22, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.  Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown.

   Mrs. Alexander was born in Marshalltown and moved to the Des Moines area from Kansas City, Mo., five years ago.  She was a homemaker and member of Kingsway Cathedral.

   Surviving are her husband, Larry; a son, Larry Jr. of Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Rebecca Alexander and Amy  Alexander, both of Altoona; her father, Wayne Gazaway of Fort Dodge; her mother, Gladys Gazaway, and a sister, Carrie Kleyh, both of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; and six brothers, Wayne Gazaway of Maitland Mo., Calvin Gazaway of Farmington, Mo., Daniel Gazaway of Eldon, Mo., Mark Gazaway of Shawnee Mission, Kan., David Gazaway of Beaumont, Texas, and Philip Gazaway of Altoona.

   Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

Phyllis Halverson (Green)

Judy Gazaway Alexander was a cousin of mine and we hadfun in high school together.  I am sorry we didn't keep better track of each other in the later years....  Phyllis Halverson Green
