Judy Bennien, 67
Judy Short Bennien, 67 died Jan. 26, 2009, at Country Living Care Center in Tama, where she had been a resident for the last few years.
Memorials can be directed to Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
Judy owned and operated Midwest Security. She is survived by three sons: Jim (DeAnn) Bennien, Frank Bennien and Christopher Bennien; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

I remember Judy when she lived on 10th Street which was my street too. She was always fun to talk with and I always enjoyed our times together. She worked at JC Penney's and used to walk the floor for shoplifters( it was her job). I'm so sorry for your loss. Marilyn Thomas Armstrong

I remember watching Judy walk to the front of the Study Hall, 4th Period, at Central Junior High back when I was attending. Each time she was headed to the front of the room, I think to sharpen her pencil. She was a pleasure to watch in her angora sweaters.
