Linda Bryan (Reiman)

 

   Linda Reiman, 70, of Bettendorf, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Iowa Masonic Health Facilities, Bettendorf.  In keeping with her wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

 

   Linda was born Feb. 7, 1943, in Marshalltown, to Alvin and Betty Bryan.  She graduated from Marshalltown High School.  She married William Blink Jr. on April 5, 1964, in Davenport.  She later married Richard Reiman, on Sept. 14, 1974, in Davenport.  Early in her adult life, she worked for Woolworth's and J.C. Penney.  Later she worked as a visiting home health aide in the DeWitt area.  She was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God, DeWitt.  She made her spiritual life and faith a primary focus.  She took pleasure in home improvement projects and planting flowers and especially enjoyed decorating her home with treasures she found at consignment and garage sales.  She often would give these gifts to others.

 

   Survivors include her mother, Betty Bryan, of Davenport; sisters: Diane Brandt, of Davenport, and Beverly Gillespie, of Piedmont, S.C.; husband Richard, of Grand Mound; children: Drs. Ty (Dan) Dunn, of Edina, Minn., Shawn Blink, of Davenport, and Vicky (Tom) Petkunas, of Muscatine; grandchildren: Colin Dunn, Irelynn and Kyler Blink, Samantha, Alexis and Anthony Petkunas.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin
