Bob Nall

March 21,1943 - Janary 2, 2019

Robert (Bob) H. Nall Jr, age 75, died on  January 2, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces after a short illness. Bob was born in 1943 in Newton, Iowa to Hazel and Bob Nall Sr.
Bob graduated from Marshalltown High School in Marshalltown, Iowa.

He worked in the seed business, advertising, and owned several bars over the years. He owned a construction company for a while.

His greatest love, however, was cars. He owned many and changed motors in them and customized them and painted them.

In high school in Iowa, he and his friends would jump over the fence at a local junkyard and steal parts. Bob also loved to talk, mostly about old cars. He liked to crack stupid jokes and loved to laugh.

In 1998 he was the second inductee into the New Mexico Hot Rod Hall of Fame.
Bob is survived by his wife Kathy Nall of Las Cruces, who he married in Las Cruces in 1982. They drove a 1923 Model T to a big car event in St Paul, Minnesota for their honeymoon. We were a lot younger then!

Bob is also survived by his son Chad (and Deedee) Nall of Las Cruces, his sister Peggy Paul of Des Moines, Iowa, his brother Kirk (and Frieda) Nall of Las Cruces and his brother Kipp (and Sara) Nall of Caballo. Bob has one grandson, Chad Nall, Jr, who lives in California.
Bob is preceded in death by his son Todd Nall of Carlsbad and his brother-in-law Dennis Paul of Des Moines, Iowa.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, January 8 at 1:00 PM at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, NM 88001.

(The "Adult Toy Factory" has a really cool website, the web address is below.  It gives the history of the factory and many, many other neat things.)
